To the one who has been actively engaged in spiritual warfare as an intercessor.
To the one who has just experienced an incident that has left you shocked, hurt, confused, baffled and dismayed…
Do not allow this incident to distract you from the assignment that has been given to you.
The Lord Almighty was right there when “it” happened and He says unto you, PEACE. You are not alone.
“So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.
All who rage against you will surely be ashamed and disgraced; those who oppose you will be as nothing and perish.
Though you search for your enemies, you will not find them. Those who wage war against you will be as nothing at all.
For I am the Lord your God who takes hold of your right hand and says to you, Do not fear; I will help you.”. Isaiah 41:10-13 NIV
I was recently on the receiving end of some pretty hateful words that left me asking “Lord, what just happened?” The quiet voice within my spirit whispered “Our struggle is not against flesh and blood”.
“For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms.” Ephesians 6:12 NIV
Yes, Lord, that makes sense. It was so out of character for this person to be so mean.
“Therefore put on the full armor of God, so that when the day of evil comes, you may be able to stand your ground, and after you have done everything, to stand. Stand firm then, with the belt of truth buckled around your waist, with the breastplate of righteousness in place, and with your feet fitted with the readiness that comes from the gospel of peace. In addition to all this, take up the shield of faith, with which you can extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one. Take the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God. And pray in the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests. With this in mind, be alert and always keep on praying for all the Lord’s people.” Ephesians 6:13-18 NIV
Remember, Jesus has given you authority to trample on snakes and scorpions and to overcome all the power of the enemy; nothing will harm you.” Luke 10:19 NIV
Keep your eyes on Christ! Now is NOT the time to shrink back in your faith.
I know it’s hard, but you must forgive and lay it at the feet of Jesus. Forgive the flesh and blood person/s but wage war against the spirit that dared to come against you, WARRIOR CHILD OF GOD! Put on your full armor and come against it with the authority you have been given through Jesus Christ.
Remember who you are and WHOSE you are. “But you belong to God, my dear children. You have already won a victory over those people, because the Spirit who lives in you is greater than the spirit who lives in the world.”
1 John 4:4 NLT
Rise up child of God! Keep taking up that territory! Keep declaring and decreeing God’s Holy Word over the nations! Wield your spiritual sword (the Word of God) like the warrior God created you to be!
The gates of hell WILL NOT PREVAIL!
Lord, I thank You for giving me an over abundance of grace so that I can dispense it out and love others unconditionally. I thank You for standing beside me and guiding me through this experience. I marvel at the work You are doing in me as You train me. Thank You for increasing my discernment to better recognize the enemy. Thank You the armor You have provided.
