🎶 Got my own GOD-DENTITY! 🎶
I was singing along with Francesca this morning when the word GOD-DENTITY inserted itself in place of IDENTITY. The actual line says ‘Got my own identity’. It’s a good line but when I started singing GOD-DENTITY, it just felt right. That’s your NEW WORD OF THE DAY 😀 My identity comes from God. He created me and molds me into His image every day.
The Lord asked me recently WHO ARE YOU? (He knows ! He just wants to make sure that I know.)
I am:
~ a child of God
~ chosen
~ a royal priesthood
~ God’s special possession
~ a new creation
~ holy
~ redeemed
~ forgiven
This list could go on and on for hours, right?
How would I have replied to the Lord’s question 20 years ago? When I wasn’t serving Him? Before I made Him Lord of my life?
broken, lost and confused
Sometimes, the enemy likes to brings up my past.
Sometimes, he tries to insert fear into me: fear of failure or fear of rejection. Fear does NOT come from God!
Sometimes you just have to tell the devil to SHUT UP!!!! (works every time) 😀
Sometimes, you just have to talk back to him using the words and promises from God’s Holy Bible! (works every time) 😃

So WHO ARE YOU?
You are loved, my friend. How amazing is it that the same God who created the sun and the stars, created you, too. You belong. You have not been forgotten. He knows exactly where you are. He counted you worthy enough to die on the cross.
