The Lord has really been stirring my spirit about my beloved country. I keep hearing Him say “On earth as it is in heaven” and “One nation under God”.
My spirit has been grieving at the state of our nation. I am saddened at how divided we have become. How has it come to this? I believe there is good in ALL OF US. How is it that we have lost the willingness to agree to disagree and still respect one another.
We are at WAR, my friends. It is not a war of black vs white, Democrat vs Republican, or Liberal vs Conservative. No, this is something far more than a flesh and blood kind of thing.
It is a spiritual war of good vs evil. Ephesian 6:12 reminds me “For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the power of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms."
How do we respond to this spiritual war? We join it…with prayer! I urge all of you to rise up and take the authority that Jesus has given us to trample on snakes and scorpions (Luke 10:19).
2 Chronicles 7:14 tells us “if my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and I will forgive their sin and heal their land.”
Will you join me and pray for the United States of America?
Lord, I approach your throne of grace with humility and repentance. I thank you, Lord, that you are quick to forgive and remember my sins no more (Isaiah 43:25). Forgive me, Lord, for not doing my part in praying for “thy will to be done on earth as it is in heaven”. Lord, in heaven, there is no hate, no racism, no murder and no corruption and I call down heaven to earth, in Your name.
Lord, I pray on behalf of the United States of America. I declare and decree that no weapon that is formed against the USA will prosper (Isaiah 54:17).
Lord, I pray that You cause your children to rise up and lead our country for Your glory! Father, infuse them with courage to speak up and stand up for what is right. Surround them, Lord, with a hedge of protection against corruption. Holy Spirit, guide them.
Father, we bind the power of this dark world and the spiritual forces of evil and we release the light of Jesus Christ in its place. We release healing to the spiritually wounded. We release Your peace and joy to cover the land.
Fsther, we pray that You dispatch Your angel armies to every dark place to do battle for the Kingdom. We claim every town, parish, city, county, region and state for the Kingdom of God. We declare and decree for one nation under God.
We give you the praise!
