It’s a question I have been asking lately. If the door doesn’t open, then is it my door? Is it too soon to step through that door? Am I still being trained to handle what’s on the other side of that door?
In my questioning and seeking the Lord, I recently received revelation (for me) on the scripture found in Psalm 37:4-5 (NKJV)
“Delight yourself also in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart. Commit your way to the Lord, Trust also in Him, And He shall bring it to pass.”
When you delight yourself in the Lord; when you diligently seek His face and His presence; when you spend time worshiping the Lord, your heart will line up to heart of the Lord. And when your heart is lined up to the heart of the Lord, HIS desire for you becomes the very thing that YOU begin to desire.
ISN’T THAT EXCITING?!!
Commit that desire to the Lord, trust in His plan and you WILL succeed!
Partner with the Lord. Dream with the Lord. Make plans with the Lord. Just make sure it is WITH the Lord.
“For I know the plans I have for you,” says the Lord. “They are plans for good and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope.” Jeremiah 29:11 NLT
I don’t know about you, but I want to know what His plan is for me. Align your heart to His then ASK Him. It’s okay to ask!
As for me, I will do what He directed. I will WAIT. I will stick to the plan I was given over a year ago. I will continue to fully trust in God’s plan for me and in HIS timing.
